    I have been around Youth Sports all my life. Playing in them, coaching them, and sponsoring them. As someone who has been on both sides of the table., I have figured out the best ways to find sponsors for your kids team.

    As usual. I’m going to keep this short, sweet, and to the point.

    1. Ask Other Parents

    By far the easiest way to get a sponsor, is to simply ask the other players parents. Chances are, at least one parent has a business and would be happy to throw a few bucks at their son or daughters soccer team. Even if they don’t own their own business, they may go back to their boss or company and ask them for a sponsorship.

    2. Ask local businesses

    Another great way to get sponsors is to ask local businesses. This could include pizza places, ice cream shops, or any other business that is involved in the community. Next time your ordering a pizza or getting ice cream, just ask for the owner or manager and see what they say. Offer to put their company logo on the team jerseys, banners, and other marketing material.

    Pro Tip: Ask the pizza place for free pizza. You’d be surprised how many team parties are free for the team.

    3. Leverage Social Media & Online Fundraising

    Many businesses want exposure, and a strong online presence can make your team more attractive to sponsors. Create a dedicated social media page for your team and showcase game highlights, player spotlights, and community involvement.
